Song brocade is gorgeous in color, exquisite in pattern and firm and soft in texture, and is endowed with the "crown of splendid embroidery" in China. Song Brocade weaving technique was included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009 as a traditional Chinese silk weaving technique. Among them, the upper nine block silk fabric is one of the typical representatives of Song brocade fabric.
